Montevina Road is reached via Highway 17 just past The Cats for most travellers. Although it relies on the highway for access to town, most of it is still part of the town of Los Gatos, with the 95030 zip code, Los Gatos schools, voting, etc.  Because it's a little more remote than most of "the town", prices are a little better here and buyers are happy to get more home for their money without needing to go too far into the Santa Cruz Mountains (and the 95033 zip code).
