| The hilly region just east of downtown Los Gatos is home to a variety of neighborhoods, from modest to palatial, and an equally wide variety of lot sizes and terrain, from tract to equestrian and vineyard acreage. All of it is pretty close to town, close to schools, shops, and "The Boulevard", where much of the day to day shopping in Los Gatos takes places.
Blackberry Hill and Aztec Ridge sit high above the town of Los Gatos and enjoy exquisite views of Silicon Valley.
Kennedy Road snakes down a smal, scenic valley toward Almaden, connecting to Shannon before they reach Hicks Road at the far end of the town's borders. It's a beautiful drive to take whether house-hunting or not. One beautiful subdivision just off Kennedy is Vista del Monte. The homes are not ostentatious, but the streets are tree-lined, with sidewalks and tidy yards and gently rolling hills.
